Northampton School Timelines for the Admissions Procedure for Year 7 September 2026 Entry:
Presentation Evenings

| Monday 22nd September 2025 | Presentation Evening 2 (6:00pm to 7:00pm) |
| Monday 22nd September 2025 | Presentation Evening 3 (7:30pm to 8:30pm) |
| Wednesday 24th September 2025 | Presentation Evening 4 (7:30pm to 8:30pm) |
| Wednesday 24th September 2025 | Presentation Evening 5 (6:00pm to 7.00pm) |
| Wednesday 24th September 2025 | Presentation Evening 6 (7.30pm to 8.30pm) |
Additional evenings/times may be provided depending on demand.
Parents/Carers will be able to book a place at the Presentation Evenings via Ticketsource in September.
Open Morning Tours

Parents/Carers will be able to book a place at the Presentation Mornings online in September.

| Monday 20th October 2025 | Music Aptitude Test - Appointment times to be booked online after Presentation Evenings |
| From w/b 13th October 2025 | Sports Aptitude Test - Appointment times to be booked online after Presentation Evenings |
| From w/b 13th October 2025 | Dance Aptitude Test - Appointment times to be booked online after Presentation Evenings |
| Friday 24th October 2025 | Parents/carers will receive information about the outcome of an aptitude test before the closing date for applications (31st October 2025) to help support them in making an informed decision as to whether to apply for a place at Northampton School. There will be no further Aptitude Test days after the application deadline. |
| Friday 31st October 2025 | Local Authority and Northampton School Supplementary Information Form deadline (midnight) |
| Friday 7th November 2025 | Ability test times confirmed. |
| Saturday 15th November 2025 |
Common Ability Test (for banding purposes) *Please note that boys who apply to both Northampton School and Northampton School for Boys for September 2026 entry will only have to take the Common Ability Test once. Parents must, however, complete separate applications for each school in order to be considered for a place at each school. |
| Monday 2nd March 2026 | National Offer Day - Local Authority notifies parents/carers of the outcome of their application. |
